A Change For Music
These days, when Britney Spears and NSYNC are in control of popular music, few people seem to remember the definition of "talent" or the coolness of an underground artist. So it should be no surprise to the eclectic that these two things go hand in hand and are often the best thing. Musically, the world needs a few more solo artists that write their own music and have a deeper meaning behind lyrics that surpass "oooh, baby" by far.
As a musician, Allen Snyder embodies both of the qualities above. He is immensely talented and hasn't graced the cover of Rolling Stone yet. This New Jersey native has been playing music in Myrtle Beach, S.C. for the past six years and is simply too good to let grow old in Myrtle Beach, so this site is dedicated to the aspiring guitarist/singer/songwrter. 5/29/02--My friend just finished burning six copies of Allen's album Wine and Morning Glory. One for a friend and Five for record companies...let's see--Anisette Records, AirTrax, Aware Records...some place in Columbia SC that I can't remember the name of and From Rags To Records. Let's hope that Allen will get a deal huh? But until then, don't tell him I sent out the demos because it's a bit of a surprise for his upcoming b-day!
5/29/02--Great News! Allen's album Wine And Morning Glory has been downloaded onto a member's library on WinMX...so try and get it...no promises about when the member will be on, but it's a worth while effort!
